Characterization of lithium alkyl carbonates by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy: Experimental and theoretical study
Article Abstract:
A study is conducted which reports on the X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) characterization of synthesized lithium methyl and ethyl carbonates. The findings reveal that Li alkyl carbonates can be identified at the electrode's surface by a combined analysis of XPS core peaks and valence spectra.

Thermodynamic characterization of polyanetholesulfonic acid and its alkaline salts
Article Abstract:
The experimental and theoretical results for the thermodynamic properties of polyanetholsulfonic acid and its lithium, sodium, and cesium salts in aqueous solution at 298 K are presented. Osmotic coefficients obtained were low which indicated a strong interaction between counterions and polyions.
